Functioning of General Meeting
The General Meeting is composed of the delegates of the participants in Maatschappij Linkerscheldeoever: the Flemish Region, Port of Antwerp-Bruges, the municipality of Beveren-Kruibeke-Zwijndrecht and Interwaas.
The General Meeting of Shareholders convenes at least twice a year. The Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) convenes each year during the course of the first half of the financial year (in June) in order to discuss the annual accounts of the previous financial year. In addition, at least one Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) is held during the course of the final quarter of the financial year (in December) to discuss the budget for the subsequent financial year, the strategy to be followed by MLSO and the actions arising therefrom.
