The arrival of a training location in Kallo not only improves accessibility for employees in the port on the left bank of the Scheldt. It will also stimulate their growth as individuals and contribute to the well-being of the entire supply chain. In the near future, the basic offering will be expanded further to include other courses of relevance to this region. The focus of those will be on shipping, freight forwarding, logistics and customs. These will be supplemented by skills training courses specific to the needs of the sector, for which Portilog is partnering with SBM.
