Work on the pre-metro tunnel under the Scheldt will begin on Monday 4 May 2026. To ensure commuters can travel smoothly to and from their workplace in Waaslandhaven, the Shuttle Bus will make an additional stop at the temporary Linkeroever train station. From 4 May and for the duration of the pre-metro tunnel works, the Linkeroever train station will be added to two routes:
- Frederik Van Eedenplein - DEME/halte DeWaterbus - Waaslandhaven
- Beveren - Melsele - Zwijndrecht - Van Eedenplein - Waaslandhaven
Commuters wishing to use this stop from 4 May can reserve their seat via the Mbus app from today.
